Will the alarm ring if I switch tabs or minimise the window?
Yes, as long as the tab stays open. Alarms are checked against your system clock rather than counted down, so a browser throttling a background tab cannot delay one. What no web page can do is ring after the tab is closed or the computer has gone to sleep, so for anything that genuinely matters, a phone alarm is the more reliable instrument.

Do I have to allow notifications?
No, and you will never be asked. The chime is synthesized inside the page using the browser’s own audio, so there is no permission prompt, no sound file to download, and nothing to install. The trade is that your device has to be unmuted, since a muted machine has no way to make noise.
Will my alarms still be there tomorrow?

What time should I set it for?
